Thank Lord for His faithfulness in keeping all of us in very good spirit even after such a long journey. Last night brother Kaung had his first session. We all witness the powerful anointing upon this ninety year old brother. His voice was loud and clear for a 90 minutes message. No one can tell that he was a very sick man stricken by Pneumonia with fever 104 F and stayed in the hospital for six days just three weeks ago. It was a series of overcoming miracles according to Dora Kaung’s testimony during our breakfast time,

First, the sickness, brother Kaung felt strongly that it was an attack from the enemy trying to stop him to come, but he asked us to pray consistently against the enemy. And the enemy was defeated. Thank Lord!

The second was the journey to Chili. On the day of departure, Richmond area had a very big tropical storm. The sky covered by very thick dark cloud and the heavy rain kept pouring down continuously for more than nine hours. Some low area flooded by water more than three feet deep. Many roads were closed and the local traffic was congested.

Sister Dora called the airline and inquired if the flight was still on. They said it was still on you could come and try. So Lord prepared a brave brother and drove them safely to the airport. Brother Kaung said he had never seen such big rain drops fall on the car wind shield before. Usually a half-hour trip to the airport, it took them hour and half.

While many other airlines were either cancelled or delayed the flights, this United Express shuttle somehow by divine control flew through the traitorous weather and landed. After discharged all passengers, the pilot asked immediate boarding so that he could get out of Richmond as fast as he can. So they all left on time and later had a smooth connection in D. C. Dullas airport. Dora said should they miss the Richmond flight then the whole trip would have been cancelled. The God’s purpose through our brother for this Agues Vivas International Conference in Santiago would have been interrupted. Praise God for His victory!

On the contrary, the same tropical storm had caused our brother Hoseah Wu and his wife Allen’s flight cancelled from Philadelphia to D. C. They were redirected to Atlanta, Georgia and took another airline the next day. By the time they got Chili, they were totally exhausted. He could not properly function for couple days.

On the first evening, Brother Kaung’s message was on the heavenly vision of Paul. The theme of the conference was the heavenly vision. We all have heard him share this topic before many times, but never like that night so powerful and clear with passion. It was so evident to us that the Lord who wants to do something very unique in South America through these special saints from five countries in this area. Christian Chen said that these people who came here are the cream of the crops. You can sense the spiritual level through their hymens, prayer and sharing. We don’t see it in the North America. I love their spiritual hymens. They are unique with their songs and they sing from their hearts and really touch you although I don’t know a word of it. Praise the Lord! Bendito es Jesus!

Praise the Lord for His anointing and strengthening of Bro. Kaung as he ministered last evening.  His voice was very strong and the message came through with power as he shared about the heavenly vision through Paul.

Thank you for your prayers and the Lord's faithfulness in answering them.  Please continue to pray for the conference that the Lord will secure all that He is after.  The brethren are very open and longing for more of the Lord.  The Lord has revealed much to them already during the last 25 years here in Chile.   He has His people everywhere.  There are about 40 here from Brazil and also others from 4 other South American countries.

Thank you for your prayers, and the Lord has been faithful to hear your prayers.  Thank and praise the Lord, everyone and everything is fine here. 

Our schedule at this conference was quite different from that in other conferences elsewhere.  The morning began with praise at 9:30.  There were 5 messages each day, with the first message at 10.  Bro. Christian spoke in that session on the heavenly vision of Peter, Paul and John.  After a half hour break, a local brother from Santiago spoke.  Those messages were deep and full.   That took us to about 1:30 p.m. and lunch.  The afternoon session began at 3.  Bro. Jonathan spoke on Thursday and Hoseah on Friday.  That session was followed by a message from another brother from outside of Chile.  First was a brother from Columbia, and then Claudio Pereira from Brazil.  That went to about 6:30. 

Bro. Kaung spoke in the evening from about 8:30 to 10.  His burden was on the heavenly vision of Paul.  The Lord's anointing and strengthening was with Bro. Kaung.  His voice was very strong and the message was powerful, even though he had to speak at night.

The brethren here are very earnest, hungering for the Lord.  They worship with Scriptural choruses, accompanied by many guitars and other instruments.  It was very beautiful. Praises and worship seem to come essentially from the brothers. There was hardly any gap that sisters could enter in.  Praise the Lord for the brothers taking their lead. 

After the conference, we came down to the southern part of Chile.  We went through the volcanic region with many lakes.  We saw 4 volcanos, all snow-capped.  We crossed through this region by bus and boat into Argentina.  The scenery is so beautiful, especially with snow still all around.   How beautiful is God's creation!  How much more glorious is the new creation!

Two brothers from Temuco, south of Chile, will come to take us back to Chile this afternoon.  We should reach Temuco tomorrow morning, and times of fellowship have already been scheduled.  (Please pray for Ellen, she will share with the sisters tomorrow afternoon.)   The magazine Living Waters published here reaches saints all over South America, even Cuba.  It contains translated messages of Bro. Sparks and Bro. Nee, and is a source of the Lord's life and ministry to many isolated ones in this part of the world, as we heard from some who attended the conference.

This is but a brief summary of what we have experienced of the grace and love of the Lord, through His saints here.  They received us with such love that we are truly refreshed to see that the Lord has His hidden ones in here, almost at the end of the world. Truly, praise be unto His name.

Our trip to the south of Chile will soon come to the end.  This morning we had the privilege of breaking bread with brothers and sisters in the home of Bro. Jose and his wife.  There were about 30 of us, including Bro. Andrew from England, Jairo from Brazil, and the 5 of us from US.   It was such a precious time to remember the Lord.  We stayed with Bro. Roland and his wife Cecilia.  Their oldest son Rolando, 17 years of age, and two other brothers played the guitar.  Young Rolando gave thanks and passed the cup.  It was so wonderful to see such a young brother participate. 

Here in Temuco, the brothers and sisters meet in 18 homes, some at a distance from town, to break bread first.  It was very precious, and being fewer in number, almost everyone has a chance to praise and worship the Lord audibly.  That was at 9.  Then they all met at the meeting place in town and had a time of worship before Bro. Kaung spoke.  There were over 500 people, and some had to stand.

Bro. Kaung shared on Matthew 16, and the revelation of the 3 mysteries.  The Father revealed through Peter's confession that Jesus is the Christ, the son of the living God.  Then the Lord revealed that He will build His church, and then the way of its building through the Cross.   Without the cross, there will be no Christ, and there will be no building.  The Lord's delay in coming back is because the building of the church has not yet been completed, on account of the unwillingness of the people of God to embrace the cross.   It was a very challenging word to all of us.

Temuco is at the lower part of Chile.  If we continue to go south, we will reach the South Pole.  The saints here feel that they are at the end of the world.  The Lord raised up the testimony here through the working of the Holy Spirit, without any outside help.   They came across the writing of Bro. Nee and more recently that of Bro. Sparks.  They were longing to have fellowship with others of like precious faith and like precious revelation of the Lord.  It was 3 years ago that they met Bro. Christian through the saints in Brazil.   Now they saw us, especially Bro. Kaung, through whom the ministry of Bro. Nee could reach them here.  They are so overjoyed.  They are a very warm people, so eager to give us brotherly hugs and expressions of praise to the Lord.  At the end of Bro. Kaung's sharing and when we had to leave, there were so many tears.   We were whisked away, because the good-bye could last another hour.

We are still deeply impressed by the visit of Br. Kaung and the brothers to Chile.

We believe the Conference will be a milestone in the history of God’s work in Chile.  In regard to the church in Temuco herself, she has been wonderfully visited by the Lord  and refreshed by the word God’s servants brought. Both br. Stephen and those who came with him became very dear to our hearts. We hope our Lord allows us to take the maximum benefit of the teachings we received and gives us another opportunity if having the brothers with us.

As you witnessed, all the church wept when Br. Kaung left the “Centenario Meeting Hall”. The brothers and sisters loved him as if they have always known him. Who but the Lord can create such a strong and beautful bond? It was as if we met  once again precious brethren, who have always been ours, though we didn’t know them. May the Lord grant us the opportunity of seeing each other again.   

We are grateful too, to all the brothers who accompanied us in those precious days. We thank you and all the brothers from Brazil who also joined us during such a wonderful journey. Please, send to them our greetings in the love of Christ.

The conference was really a blessing. On the one hand, we were very touched by the Lord through the many words of grace, which were shared. On the other hand, our Lord's life manifested through His people was also very present. The theme of the conference was "The heavenly Vision", but the Spirit of the Lord reminded us that this vision has to become reality in our daily life here on earth. As we saw so many brothers and sisters from different parts of the world and various cultural and historical backgrounds praising and worshiping Him as one, we rejoiced in the Lord for His love and mercy: indeed, He has called a people out of every tribe, language and nation to belong to Him, to form the One body - His Church. It was also remarkable to
realize that it is the same God working everywhere - be it in China, England, Brazil or Chile, be it in Asia, Europe or South or North America - the same Spirit is working towards a goal: the building up of a bride to the beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.
